Semiconductor devices such as Laser or LEDs are optoelectronic devices. They belong to the subcategory of actuators (transmitter). Fischer Elektronik offers various mounting materials and optical fibres for the optoelectronics. The optical fibres are transparent devices made of the platic material "polycarbonate", which transport the light to the requested place. For a horizontal PCB mounting and for the front panel mounting there are different LED owners available. Those are suitable for standard diameters of 3 and 5mm. The spacers for LED technique are applicable for standard and reflow soldering processes. All materials comply with UL 94 V-0.
