D-Sub connectors are used as connector systems, in the data system technology amongst others. The name is construed from the D-design. Hereby the D-Sub connectors are protected against twists. The D-Sub connectors are available at Fischer Elektronik in different designs as a 9, 15, 25, 37 and 50 contact version. D-Sub connectors as standard, high density, filter connectors, ribbon cable connectors, mixed layout connectors, D-Sub connectors in SMD-technique and in press-in technique can be found in the product range of Fischer Elektronik. For those D-Sub connectors matching hoods are available. The surface of the hoods is available in plastic, black or metallised for a good screening attenuation against electric and magnetic alternating fields. Various accessories close the field of D-Sub connectors.
