Slide-in cassettes for 19" subracks are used for the acceptance of one or more PCBs which are connected by an own wiring field among each other or directly with the connector of the 19" subrack and therefore they build a closed functional unity. The slide-in cassettes for 19" subracks are usually closed from all sides and consist of one front panel, 2 side panels which have special guide edges for inserting in a 19" subrack as well as back panel, top an bottom panel. The slide-in cassettes for 19" subracks from Fischer Elektronik exist in various designs, such as a case with two side panels made of extruded profiles which also house integrated guide grooves for PCBs, cases made of heatsink profiles as well as cases with side panel bent parts or plastic covers. The slide-in cassettes for 19" subracks are available in the height units 3 and 6U, with the insert depths 160 and 220 mm and in many different standard widths (HP). Different free selectable back panel cut-outs realise the use of different pin and male multipoint connectors. The possible surfaces of the slide-in cassettes for 19" subracks are natural colour or black anodised and transparent passivated for the use under electromagnetic disturbance (electrical conductive surface).
