SMD high-precision male headers with 2.54mm grid spacing

Fischer Elektronik are now able to offer their customers with immediate effect one- and two-row high-precision male headers with 2.54mm grid spacing in surface-mounted design, as an option with automatic assembly ("B" – Pick and Place") and in a bar magazine ("…SM"). By means of pick and place pads, the high-precision male headers are automatically placed onto the PCB by applying a vacuum. After soldering, the pick and place pads can be removed. The one-row design is offered with 4-20 contacts and the two-row design with 4-40 contacts. Other numbers of contacts are available on request. The insulators of the high-precision male headers and also the pick and place pads are made from reflow-solderable high temperature resistant plastics in conformity with RoHs. The contacts are either available with a gold-plated surface or made from tin. The contacts are also in conformity with RoHs. The reference number for one-row 20-pole design with gold-plated surface is MK 26 SMD 20 G B SM, that for two-row 40-pole design is MK 226 SMD 40 G B SM.
