High-performance cooling aggregates of a new design
The truly major thermal power dissipations, e.g. from converters or switchboards, often range on a scale of several kilowatts and are hardly coolable any longer by way of passive high-performance heatsinks. Another knock-out criterion in the application is moreover provided by the large geometric dimensions of the heatsink and high attendant installation weight. Specifically for this application case, Fischer Elektronik is now expanding its product range by further high-performance cooling aggregates. The novel conception of the LA(V) 28-33 product series is based on extruded sections that are soldered together. The flow-optimized geometry of the hollow ribs is realized by way of additionally included partition plates that are optimally contacted in heat terms. The powerful axial fan motors used are furthermore ideally adapted to the interior heat exchange structure in terms of volume flow and dynamic pressure. Double-sided, precisely face-milled base plates ensure a good heat splay, but simultaneously also serve as a mounting surface for the electronic components to be cooled. The new cooling aggregates are available with or without air-flow chamber, in two different heights, and six different widths. Additional mechanical finishes, surface coatings and other fan cooler types and voltages can be realized in keeping with customer-specific requirements.
