Female headers for IC as SMD
Fischer Elektronik offer with immediate effect high precision female headers as SMD in a 2.54 mm grid for an 0.5 mm diameter insertion space, which are suitable for IC connections, in one and two row designs. The contact consists of a two-piece precision contact with a gold plated 4-finger contact insert and a contact shell with a tinned surface. Capillary action during soldering is prevented by the closed contact shell. The insulator is made of plastic material which is resistant to high temperatures and suitable for the SMT soldering technique. Headers of the one row design are available with 4-20 contacts and of two row design with 4-40 contacts. For automatic charging, the customer may order pick and place pads and bar magazines as optional extras.
