Fischer Elektronik has expanded its product range in the area of 2.54 mm pitch circuit boards with the addition of a version in SMD technology. The "LB SL LP 039 SMD ..." plug-in connectors are suitable for a fixed connection of LED circuit boards and standard circuit boards. They are single-row horizontal, designed with a height of only 2.5 mm, and available in pole numbers of 2–20. The square contacts are finished in gold and tin (pure tin) surfaces. The contact material, a CuSn alloy, is designed for a nominal current of 3 A. The low-profile insulation body consists of a high-performance plastic. This is characterised by a high level of dimensional stability, outstanding heat deformation resistance and good mechanical properties. The materials used comply with EU Directive 2011/65/EU (RoHS) and the requirements of (EC) Regulation No. 1907/2006 (REACH).
